Privacy guidelines

Generally, information about users of the Business Community website is particularly worthy of protection for the Business Community and is used confidentially and only in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

Personal data

Personal data is information about the identity of a person and the company, such as company name, surname, first name, function, address, e-mail address and telephone/mobile phone number. Such data is requested when registering for the Franchise Expansion Day.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

If your name, telephone number, e-mail address or other personal data is collected, processed and used for special campaigns, you will be informed of this at the appropriate point. If personal data is collected, processed and used on the pages of the Business Community, the provisions of data protection law are complied with. In particular, the data is treated confidentially. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties unless express consent has been given or there is an obligation to disclose this data, for example due to a court order or official directive.

Special services

If you use services that require you to provide personal data, only the data that is required to provide you with these services will be collected, processed and used.

Data security

The Business Community is committed to the security and protection of your data. Appropriate technical and organisational procedures have been put in place to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, to ensure the accuracy of the data and to ensure the authorised use of the data. Nevertheless, the Business Community cannot accept any responsibility or liability for the disclosure of your data due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorised access by third parties.

SSL encryption

The Business Community pages use SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to the Business Community as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to the Business Community cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies

The pages of the Business Community sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to store your login data and to make the website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies used by the Business Community are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable the Business Community to recognise your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website is restricted.

Right to information, deletion, blocking

You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of the Business Community pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Changes to the data protection guidelines

We reserve the right to amend these data protection guidelines at any time in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.

Ticket shop

Functions and content of the pretix service, offered by rami.io Softwareentwicklung, Raphael Michel, Römerstraße 245, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany, are integrated into the Business Community event offer. This includes the ticket shop, which is integrated via a JavaScript widget. When you buy a ticket, pretix uses a technically necessary cookie to enable the order process and to remember which shopping basket belongs to you. The cookie is set as soon as you interact with the widget. pretix does not store any IP addresses, browser information or other unnecessary metadata beyond the duration of your enquiry. Newsletter

Registration for the Franchise Expansion Day is linked to the automatic sending of the regular newsletter to the e-mail address provided. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request at any time to info@franchisetag.events by e-mail.

The Business Community uses the list provider MailChimp to send the newsletter. MailChimp is a service provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318 (hereinafter referred to as Mailchimp). Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.

The email addresses provided during registration are transmitted to Mailchimp and stored by Mailchimp. Mailchimp also offers various options for analysing how the newsletters sent are opened and used, e.g. how many users an email was sent to, whether emails were rejected and whether users unsubscribed from the list after receiving an email. These analyses are only carried out on a group basis and are not used by the Business Community for individual evaluation. Mailchimp also uses the Google Analytics analysis tool, but does not include it in the Business Community newsletter. Web analysis

This website uses Matomo, an open-source web analysis tool, to collect and store data for optimisation purposes. The information generated is stored on the provider's server in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is stored. The information generated about the use of this website is not passed on to third parties. No tracking cookies are used for web analysis. The data is not used for purposes other than optimisation. Visitors are not tracked across multiple websites. A user cannot be tracked over several days within the same website.
